Kentucky stable rugs
Kentucky stable rugs keep your horse warm in the stable and are lined with the typical faux rabbit fur or soft microfibre. Fillings range from 0 to 400 g, so you will find the right rug for every temperature and every coat. There is also the well-known Kentucky show rug, light sheets and rugs that you can also use as an under rug.

The models
- Stable rug Classic: robust 900D ripstop polyester outside, microfibre inside, in different fillings. The version with neck has a removable neck cover and 200 g filling.
- Stable rug 200 g: 600D polyester, anatomically shaped and lined with faux rabbit fur, popular for clipped horses.
- Stable rug Comfort: anatomically shaped, with a comfort front closure and faux sheepskin at the withers, 600D outside.
- Stable rug Wave: light, with wave quilting, intended for the transitional season.
- Fake Fur rug: fluffy faux fur without filling, also as an under rug and travel rug.
Kentucky show rug
The show rug is one of the best-known Kentucky products: 160 g filling, a lining of faux rabbit fur and a collar of faux sheepskin. It serves as a stable, travel and under rug. It is available in the classic version with diamond quilting, as the Velvet show rug with a velvet surface and as the Sammy show rug for small horses.
Light rugs and rugs for underneath
Cotton Sheet (cotton and polyester) and Canvas Sheet are light rugs for warm days in the stable and, in winter, for use as an under rug. The Skin Friendly under rug with neck has 150 g filling and faux rabbit fur inside. The down rug has no closures and is often used as an under rug. The Cooler Fleece Horse Scarf adds a fleece neck cover to any rug.

That depends on temperature, coat and clipping. Unclipped horses often need little or no filling in the stable, clipped horses rather 200 g or more. With an additional under rug you can adjust the warmth flexibly.

Kentucky stable rugs are available from 70 to 165 cm back length, measured from the withers to the base of the tail. For ponies and small horses there is, for example, the Sammy show rug.
The down rug has no closures. According to the manufacturer, the belly strap is not included and must be bought separately.
According to Kentucky, the Classic stable rug and the Velvet show rug are washable at 30 degrees. Check the label of each model and let the rug air dry.
