What matters in a winter riding jacket
In the saddle, a winter jacket needs freedom of movement at the shoulders and arms and shouldn't ride up when you sit. Long riding coats also protect your thighs and back from cold and wet, while short jackets are more practical for mounting and for work around the yard. You will find details on filling, waterproofing and care with each item.
