Acavallo stirrups: Arena safety stirrups and Arco Evolution

Arena family: safety stirrups with side opening

According to the manufacturer, the Arena stirrups have a patented side opening with a lock-and-release mechanism. For the Arena Alupro Junior and the Arena Aluplus Junior, Acavallo describes that the branch opens outwards, making it easier to release the foot in an emergency. The opening of the lock-and-release mechanism is one centimetre above the tread. This is intended to prevent the foot from accidentally slipping out sideways.

• Arena Alupro: The top of the tread is made of stainless steel with horizontal holes. According to the manufacturer, the flexible polymers give it more comfort and less stiffness than conventional stirrups.
• Arena Aluplus: made entirely of certified, anodised aluminium. The tread is angled by five degrees and has a stainless steel top.
• Arena Alupro Junior and Arena Aluplus Junior: the junior versions of the two models with an extra-large or extra-wide tread.

Arco Evolution Alupro: light, with angled tread

The Arco Evolution Alupro is made of certified aluminium. Its tread is angled by 5° and is designed to help you adopt the correct position. The stainless steel top has long, horizontal openings so that less sand and dirt collects. The Arco Evolution has no release mechanism, so it is not a safety stirrup.

Stirrup leathers and accessories

• Mono stirrup leathers and Sublime dressage mono stirrup leathers: one-piece, made of calfskin with a nylon core reinforcement. The stainless steel buckle sits at the bottom close to the stirrup, and the leather is cut narrow at the top. On the Sublime model, the buckle is also covered with leather.
• Classic stirrup leathers, stirrup leathers with core reinforcement and stirrup leathers with covered buckle: made of full-grain calfskin with stainless steel buckles. The last two have a nylon core reinforcement to prevent stretching.
• SUBLIME Fender mono stirrup leathers: made of leather, for English saddles.
• Stirrup covers with logo: made of soft fabric with fleece lining. They protect saddle and stirrups from dirt and scratches.
