How much glitter is right?
Subtle on the dressage bow: A row of rhinestones or crystals on the upper edge of the bow is barely noticeable when riding and looks elegant rather than flashy in the arena. That is the option for anyone who wants to shine in the dressage arena or on the jumping course without standing out.
Eye-catching on the shaft: Glitter detailing or crystal patterns across the whole upper shaft are a statement for training, photos and shows. If you also want to wear them at a show, check the schedule first for how strict the dress code is.
Interchangeable: Some models have a removable top with hook-and-loop fastening. Glitter for training, plain for the test – one boot for both. You will find more tops in boot accessories.
Subtle rows of rhinestones or crystals on the dressage bow are widespread in dressage and jumping classes and are usually not an issue. With large areas of glitter on the shaft it is worth checking the schedule or asking the show office briefly, because organisers interpret the dress code with different degrees of strictness.
On the models in the range the stones are glued or set and hold under normal use. What damages them is brushing, leather grease and tack that rubs against the shaft. You protect interchangeable tops by taking them off for training.
Wipe rhinestones and crystals only with a soft, damp cloth, do not brush them and do not apply greases or oils over them, otherwise the stones go dull. Patent leather tolerates mild shoe cream without turpentine. You care for the smooth leather underneath as with any other boot.

On models with a removable top, yes: there are interchangeable tops with glitter, crystals or croc look that sit on the top of the shaft with hook-and-loop fastening. For all other boots you are left with glittery laces, which you will find in boot accessories.
Fit & care for glitter and patent
Glitter does not change the fit: you choose foot size, calf width and calf height as with any other boot. Measure the calf at the widest point while sitting and the height from the floor to the hollow of the knee – the guide is in our riding boot size guide.
For care: wipe rhinestones and crystals only with a soft, damp cloth, never brush them, and do not apply leather greases or oils over them, otherwise the stones go dull. Patent leather tolerates mild shoe cream without turpentine. Remove interchangeable tops before cleaning and clean them separately.
