LeMieux bridles
LeMieux bridles are made of soft leather and, depending on the model, have an anatomically shaped, padded headpiece. The range includes the Kudos series with competition, dressage and Work bridle, the Kudos Clear Arc, Mexican nosebands from Kudos and Arika as well as a hunter bridle with laced reins.
From competition bridle to Work bridle
The Kudos Flash competition bridle, formerly also known as the Competition Flash Bridle, has a shaped, padded browband and noseband with decorative stitching and a detachable flash strap. For dressage there are the Kudos Classic dressage bridle and the Classic Dressage bridle with a detachable, anatomically shaped headpiece and padded crank noseband, as well as the Kudos Patent dressage bridle with rolled sections made of pre-oiled European leather. The Kudos Work bridle is made for everyday use: it is made of oiled leather, has a detachable flash strap and clips on the cheekpieces that let you change the bit quickly. On the Kudos Clear Arc, according to the manufacturer, the S-shaped noseband is designed to distribute pressure over three areas of the nose, away from the cheeks and teeth. Mexican nosebands sit higher on the nose; LeMieux offers them as a Kudos and an Arika version. The hunter bridle made of pre-oiled American leather comes with laced reins. Sizes and matching LeMieux reins
Most models come in Pony, Cob and Full, many also in X-Full; depending on the bridle, colours range from black and brown to Havana or Chestnut. It is best to compare the measurements with the bridle your horse is currently wearing. According to the description, the Kudos Classic dressage bridle goes with the straight rubber reins from LeMieux, and the Hunter double bridle reins are matched to the hunter bridles.
