Field riding boots: construction and details
The Field riding boots have slim stretch lacing at ankle height and a YKK zip from the heel to the back of the knee with a concealed stopper. A padded neoprene cover is designed to prevent pressure points at the back of the knee. The X-Grip rubber sole has a linear tread which, according to the manufacturer, is matched to the tread of the stirrup. Inside, a contoured footbed with five density zones as well as leather lining and heel tab provide support; a spur rest is integrated into the zip flap. The Field riding boot is available in black and brown as well as in a short version. The Junior Field transfers the concept to children's boots, and with the Junior riding boot with changeable panels you can choose between two decorative panels: plain or in Sparkle Pewter. You can find riding boots from other brands under Riding boots and models for children under Children's riding boots.
Choosing the size and caring for your boots
The Field riding boot is available in EU 37 to 43, the short version in EU 38 to 43 and the Junior models in EU 33 to 38. With riding boots, the calf matters as well as the shoe size: the stretch inserts give a little, but they don't replace the right shaft width. The leather stays supple if you remove dust and dirt from the boots after riding and treat them regularly with leather care. To go with them, you will find models with knee grip or full seat, also for children, among the LeMieux breeches. More from LeMieux is on the LeMieux brand page.
