Eskadron sweat rugs
Eskadron offers highly functional and stylish sweat rugs to dry your horse quickly after training without getting cold. The sweat rugs are always available to match the latest Eskadron collections.
Eskadron sweat rugs: functional eye-catchers
Whether on the way between the stable and the riding arena, at the show, after training or during transport: a high-quality sweat rug from Eskadron not only looks great. It also protects your horse's sensitive areas from cooling down. Functional materials such as breathable fleece reliably transport moisture to the outside. On cooler days, a sweat rug made of teddy fleece ensures the right temperature regulation.
You can also find rugs made from other materials such as jersey and cotton in the range. Eskadron sweat rugs made from Dralon, a blended fabric made from cotton and polyacrylic, are particularly popular. Dralon sweat rugs optimally wick moisture away from the horse and are pleasantly light and cosy. Sophisticated buckles ensure that the rugs fit well. With an Eskadron sweat rug, you and your horse are perfectly equipped for all situations.

Measure the back length from the withers to the dock. Up to about 145 cm the 145 fits; above that the 155. A warmblood of 165 to 170 cm height usually takes 145; large-framed horses from 175 cm rather 155. If in doubt choose the smaller size, because the rugs are cut rather generously at the neck.
The coolers themselves are without a neck. Alongside them there is the Dynamic zip neck cover in anti-pilling fleece, which zips onto the fleece cooler and is fixed with Velcro. Alternatively a loose fleece neck cover with Velcro fastening fits every cooler.
Fleece dries quickly, is light and cheaper, but straw sticks to it. Jersey is smooth outside, brushed inside, looks more elegant at shows and warms a little more. For everyday after training we recommend fleece with anti-pilling; for shows and for clipped horses, jersey.
At 30 °C on a gentle cycle, Velcro closed, without fabric softener. Do not tumble-dry, do not iron, especially with Glossy bindings, lurex cords and Sparkle surfaces. Leave to air-dry.
The checked models are called Fleece Check and belong to the respective collection: Classic Sports, Platinum, Dynamic and Heritage each bring out their own collection check every year. At around €50 to €70 they are also the cheapest collection rugs.
The cooler goes on the wet coat after riding and is taken off as soon as the horse is dry. An exercise sheet warms the loin area while riding or warming up. The stable rug replaces the winter coat round the clock for clipped horses. For an unclipped horse the cooler is usually enough in winter.
