Riding helmets

A well-fitting riding helmet is a basic piece of safety equipment in equestrian sports. It provides protection in the event of falls or unforeseen situations and should always be worn when riding - regardless of experience level.

All riding helmets in our range comply with the current EU safety standard and are approved for equestrian sports. So you can be sure that function, fit and protection meet the applicable standards.

Comfort and support in the saddle

Riding breeches and riding leggings

Riding breeches and riding leggings are part of the basic equestrian equipment. They ensure a good hold in the saddle, protect against friction and at the same time allow maximum freedom of movement.

Whether full seat, knee patches or silicone grip - the choice depends on the riding style and personal comfort. There are various models available for dressage, show jumping or trail riding that are functional and comfortable to wear.

The right footwear for equestrian sports

Riding boots, chaps & ankle boots

Whether in training, at competitions or in the field - the right footwear not only ensures safety, but also a stable seat in the saddle and a steady leg position.

Classic riding equipment includes either riding boots with a high shaft or ankle boots in combination with chaps. Both variants fulfil the same purpose: they support the correct position of the leg, offer protection and provide the necessary support in the stirrups.

Two paths, one goal: stability and safety in the saddle

Riding boots or chaps?

Both riding boots and ankle boots with chaps fulfil the same purpose - they stabilise the leg, protect against friction and ensure a steady seat in the saddle. Nevertheless, there are some differences that can play a role in the selection:

Ankle boots and chaps

  • two separate parts: short shoe + shaft
  • more flexible and often more comfortable in everyday life
  • easier to put on, also popular with younger riders
  • visually similar to riding boots, especially with the right combination

Riding boots

  • classic-elegant look, particularly popular in competition sport
  • full-length shaft supports the leg and supports a stable position
  • available in various shaft widths, heights and materials
  • many models with a zip for easy donning
  • large selection from all-round models to specialised dressage or jumping boots

Secure grip and good protection

Riding gloves

Riding gloves ensure a firm grip on the reins and protect the hands from friction. Whether light and breathable for summer or lined for winter - we have a range of models for everyday wear, training and competitions.

All riding gloves

For beginners: Inexpensive models made of cotton with studs or silicone coating - simple, functional and well suited for first riding lessons.

Everyday classics: Riding gloves made of artificial leather or real leather offer good durability, a non-slip surface and a sporty, elegant look.

For warm days: Lightweight gloves with breathable mesh inserts, e.g. the Roeckl Roeck-Grip Light, ensure pleasant ventilation in summer.

For cold days: Lined riding gloves with warming fleece or thermal material keep your hands pleasantly warm even in winter - without sacrificing grip.

Safety first

Safety waistcoats

Safety waistcoats are an important part of riding equipment - whether for leisure riding, show jumping, eventing or cross-country. They help to prevent injuries in the event of falls and give a secure feeling in the saddle. There are various systems with different functions and advantages.

To all protective waistcoats

Airbag waistcoats - modern protection with a system
Airbag waistcoats are an innovative way of providing comprehensive protection for the upper body in the event of a fall. If triggered, an air cushion deploys within milliseconds to cushion the back, chest, ribs and neck. Many models can be worn inconspicuously over or under the riding jacket and hardly interfere with riding. Particularly popular: airbag systems that can be zipped into special jackets or waistcoats - barely visible, but functionally highly effective. The airbag is usually triggered mechanically via a connection to the saddle. It is therefore important that the waistcoat is fitted correctly and fastened properly.

Classic protective waistcoats & back protectors
In addition to airbag waistcoats, there are proven alternatives such as safety waistcoats with foam padding or back protectors with flexible inserts. They offer reliable protection - especially on the spine, back and chest area - protective waistcoats are padded all round and distribute the impact energy evenly - back protectors concentrate on back protection and offer more freedom of movement - often in the form of body-hugging waistcoats or "back plates".
