Discover the comfort and functionality of the flat non-slip gel pad in Classic design with cut-out sheepskin. This pad offers close contact with the saddle and lets the horse's skin breathe while riding.
Thanks to the moulded gel, the product is thicker than a conventional saddle pad and offers an effective combination of grip and cushioning. Acavallo® Classic gel is hypoallergenic, non-toxic and does not cause unwanted reactions on skin contact, so it can be used safely. The gel can also be easily trimmed and adapted to any type of saddle.
An important advantage of this pad is that it prevents unwanted movement of the saddle in all directions: forwards, backwards and sideways. The gel can compensate for small irregularities in the horse's back, making it suitable for rounder backs too.
The centre section is thinner to fit the horse's withers and back better. This creates plenty of space between saddle and gel for constant air circulation.
The Acavallo® sheepskin on the edge of the product is a hypoallergenic, soft and gentle natural material that helps prevent rubbing, abrasions and blisters.
The sheepskin selected by Acavallo® has a very high fibre density per square centimetre. Sheepskin also acts as an insulator and prevents static build-up on skin contact. Another important property of this material is that it absorbs sweat and, according to the manufacturer, releases it to the outside air seven times faster than synthetic materials.
