What makes it special?
The cosy Skin Friendly rug is perfect for horses with sensitive skin. The rug is easy to combine with other rugs and can therefore be customised to your horse's needs
Fabrics & materials
The outside of the Skin Friendly rug is made of polyester microfibre. The yarn of this fabric has been processed to create a cotton touch. The lining of the rug is made from our popular artificial rabbit fur. The 300g fibre felt filling has the same advantages as down, but unlike down it does not absorb odours. The artificial rabbit fur is very comfortable for your horse to wear, especially for horses with sensitive skin or clipped horses. The lining forms an additional insulating layer to retain the horse's body heat and create a shiny effect in the coat.
Shape & size
The rug is slightly shorter than other rugs so that it does not absorb moisture. Thanks to the artificial rabbit fur, the rug always slides back into place. Thanks to the polyester microfibre, it stays in place better with other blankets. The blanket closes with a front fastener combined with a Velcro fastener. There are 2 D-rings at the end for attaching a tail cord.
Care instructions
For best performance, the Skin Friendly rug should be machine washed once a month at 30°. Do not tumble dry the rug after washing.
