Description
The TURNADO bits represent a new generation of snaffles. The joint has been angled 45° forwards to ensure even pressure distribution and avoid palate pressure. The bit legs of conventional single-jointed bits are of different lengths for manufacturing reasons, which always exerts somewhat more pressure on one side. You avoid this problem of unequal pressure distribution by using a TURNADO bit. This is also suitable for horses with slight tongue problems.
The rotation is marked by a slightly roughened surface (sandblasting) of the mouthpiece in the middle area of the bit.
The classic single-jointed snaffle is an ideal everyday bit and is suitable for a wide variety of fields of use. It is also a good choice for young and sensitive horses to develop and promote trusting contact.
