Description
The butterfly bar represents an absolute innovation in the field of mouthpieces. Its anatomically shaped recess, in combination with the widened contact surface in the tongue area, gives this extremely important and sensitive muscle maximum space with the option of a very gentle action. Horses show their well-being through increased chewing activity and more willingness to come onto the bit. If a stronger action is desired, a leverage cheek piece can achieve an angle change of the mouthpiece in the mouth. Through the then selectively increased pressure the desired throughness can be achieved. When the pressure is released the butterfly bar immediately returns to the comfortable position. The loose-running ring means greater mobility of the bit in the mouth. The snaffle is therefore a bit for horses that prefer a more “mobile” bit in the mouth. In the copper bushes the ring runs very evenly and, through the better durability, considerably increases the service life of the bit.
