This high-quality, single-jointed 3-ring snaffle is made of solid Cuprigan with stainless steel rings. Cuprigan is an alloy of 89% copper, 7% aluminium, 3% iron and 1% zinc. The oxidation process of the material produces a pleasant smell and taste. The anatomical shape follows the form of the horse's mouth, allowing gentle and even pressure distribution. The combination of the shape and the unique composition of Cuprigan stimulates the chewing process and salivation, which can create a pleasant connection with the sensitive horse's mouth. The bit has a normal effect on the mouth and is suitable for horses that are hard in the mouth. The mouthpiece is 12 mm thick and the centre bit rings have a diameter of 70 mm.?
This 3-ring snaffle has an additional ring at the top and bottom. When the cheekpieces are attached to the top rings and the reins to the middle or lower rings, a leverage effect is created. The further down the reins are attached, the greater the leverage. The middle and lower rings can be connected with a Pelham strap.
