Description
Ready for the most modern standard of horse-friendly bits? The innovative novocontact bits are uniquely oval in shape. As a result the bits rest with a broad surface on the horse’s tongue as long as a light contact is held. Only when the rider acts more strongly via the rein does the mouthpiece rotate forwards. This briefly reduces the contact area on the tongue. The signal thus reaches the horse sensitively and effectively and the rider is enabled to give effective aids. In this way the novocontact bits support optimal communication and pave the way for improved contact between horse
and rider.
The double-jointed eggbutt bit with D-shaped ring has a slightly containing action and lies quietly in the mouth. At the same time it helps protect the sensitive corners of the mouth. The model allows a direct transfer of the rein aid.
Due to the modern novocontact geometry this double-jointed model is a good choice for horses that occasionally become strong but are too sensitive for bits with a stronger action. In our practical tests too these horses reacted positively to the bit. It sits ergonomically adapted in the horse’s mouth, has a large contact area on the tongue and thus supports a soft but clear action.
