PRODUCT INFORMATION
Description:
This unjointed snaffle is characterised by the mouthpiece made of cherry rollers with a Sweet Iron coating. The movable cherry rollers encourage your horse to grip and play with the rollers. This not only provides relaxation but also natural saliva production and good acceptance of the bit. In addition the movable rollers make it harder for the horse to grab the bit.
Product features:
Sweet Iron bits are made of blue steel and, through contact with saliva, release a sweet-tasting surface rust. This sweet taste stimulates the natural production of saliva, so the horse foams more and accepts the bit better.
An unjointed mouthpiece offers stability and acts more sensitively than a single- or double-jointed snaffle. A snaffle is a bit with loose bit rings that can move freely. This type of bit is generally well accepted because the mouthpiece sits relatively loosely in the mouth.
Maintenance:
If a Sweet Iron bit is not used for a while, an orange-brown rust layer can form on the mouthpiece. This can easily be removed by wiping the bit with a damp cloth.
