Description
The Kudos Thermo Layer turnout rug 300 g is a versatile rug that quickly adapts to seasonal temperature fluctuations and ensures that your horse stays dry and comfortable when turned out. This rug was made with a focus on keeping the important muscle groups of your horse warm and protected and yet it is light and practical for every seasonal transition.
The incredibly light, waterproof and highly breathable turnout rug from the Kudos turnout rug collection consists of 300 g thermally bonded quilted filling that focuses on the topline of the horse's back. The fill density is designed to keep the large muscles of the horse warm and protected. A double fill layer extends around the horse's flanks and the lightest layer goes down to the hem; this has the advantage that it does not impair the horse's freedom of movement.
The robust, waterproof outer layer of the Kudos horse rug consists of ballistic nylon with 1680 denier. This is a special manufacture particularly to avoid leaks. The antibacterial and antistatic inner lining moulds efficiently to the horse's back.
Conventional turnout rugs can create friction at the shoulder and hind-leg areas. Our patented two-part under-skirt breaks this tension and allows freedom of movement, additionally keeps warm and protects the horse from water splash. The special and elastic shoulder cut-outs allow free movement when turned out.
The angled 45-degree T-bar chest fastening with hard-wearing Velcro ensures a firm but pressure-free fit at the shoulder to allow free movement and prevent friction.
The padded neck piece offers additional protection against the elements and can if needed be folded down to give the horse more comfort when grazing. Adjustable cross surcingles at the belly and a removable safety strap reliably protect your horse from bad weather.
Reflective straps and LeMieux brand strips ensure that your horse is better seen in poor light conditions. A PVC-covered tail strap serves cleanliness and the extra-long tail cover additionally protects the top of the tail.
This rug is supplied with a matching, removable neck piece and is compatible with the entire LeMieux rug system. The Kudos rug system offers you generous flexibility in all seasons.
