Description
The technically advanced Junior safety stirrups from LeMieux were developed with equestrian expertise and made of aerospace-grade aluminium for a light yet robust design.
The integrated hinged arm opens in the event of a fall. Specially designed for young riders, the mechanism releases with less force than the adult model.
The offset apex shape keeps the stirrups in a 45° outward rotation to make finding the stirrup again easier.
The ergonomic Twin Balance tread is angled by 5° to keep the heels down and allow the foot to be easily pulled out. It also has a smoother structure than the adult version, adapted to young riders.
The stirrups should be the right size and match the rider's riding boots. It is strongly recommended that there is a minimum clearance of 7 mm (¼") on each side of the boot.
