Description
The gag snaffle encourages the horse to raise its head. It is often used on horses that go behind the bit. When the reins are taken up the mouthpiece slides upwards and the horse feels pressure in the corners of the mouth and at the back of the neck. The bit can be used with one or two reins or with pelham straps. In most cases the bit is used with two reins; one rein is normally attached to the bit and the other rein to one of the lower rings or the end of the gag straps. In this way the rider can use the gag effect only when it is really necessary. This bit is not suitable for the inexperienced rider.
The Inno Sense broken combines the proven design of a traditional single-jointed bit with the advanced, softer Inno Sense material. The single-jointed design exerts pressure on the bars and sides of the tongue, giving the tongue more freedom and encouraging the horse to work with the bit while precise control is retained. The main advantage of the Inno Sense broken bit is improved comfort. The softer material reduces discomfort and promotes better acceptance of the bit, especially in horses that are sensitive to resistance or overreact with stronger bits.
The bits from the Inno Sense Broken collection can be used for all horses, but are particularly suitable for young horses and horses with a sensitive mouth. The Inno Sense material contains no plasticisers and is therefore harmless to the horse's health. Horses ridden with an Inno Sense broken mouthpiece follow the hand easily and accept the bit quickly.
