Description
A curb gag is comparable with a gag snaffle, but has a different effect. The pressure now lies not behind the ears, but on the lower jaw/chin. The strap runs through under the chin, and the cheekpieces are fastened to the additional ring at the top. This bit is effective for strong, temperamental horses and is mainly used by show jumpers. This bit is not suitable for inexperienced riders.
The Inno Sense jointed combines the proven design of a traditional jointed bit with the advanced, softer Inno Sense material. The single-jointed design exerts pressure on the bars and sides of the tongue, whereby the tongue receives more freedom and the horse is encouraged to work with the bit, while precise control is retained. The most important advantage of the Inno Sense jointed bit is the improved comfort. The softer material reduces discomfort and promotes better acceptance of the bit, especially with horses that react sensitively to resistance or overreactions with stronger bits.
The bits from the Inno Sense jointed collection can be used for all horses, but are especially suitable for young horses and horses with a sensitive mouth. The Inno Sense material contains no plasticisers and is therefore harmless for the horse’s health. Horses that are ridden with an Inno Sense jointed mouthpiece follow the hand easily and accept the bit quickly.
