Description
The hanging cheek or Baucher bit is an eggbutt snaffle variant where smaller rings are attached at the top of the rings. The cheekpiece is fastened to the upper rings and the reins to the eggbutt. This way the bit has a slight leverage. The hanging cheek is often used by pony riders in higher classes but can also be used to ease the transition from a normal snaffle to curb and bradoon bits.
The Inno Sense Jointed combines the proven design of a traditional jointed bit with the advanced, softer Inno Sense material. The single-jointed design exerts pressure on the bars and sides of the tongue, which gives the tongue more freedom and encourages the horse to work with the bit while precise control is retained. The most important advantage of the Inno Sense Jointed bit is the improved comfort. The softer material reduces discomfort and promotes better acceptance of the bit, especially in horses that react sensitively to resistance or overreact with stronger bits.
The bits from the Inno Sense Jointed collection can be used for all horses but are especially suitable for young horses and horses with a sensitive mouth. The Inno Sense material contains no plasticisers and is therefore harmless to the horse's health. Horses that are ridden with an Inno Sense Jointed mouthpiece follow the hand easily and accept the bit quickly.
