Description
The pelham jaw piece combines the action of a snaffle and a curb and snaffle. The bit has a jaw piece but can be ridden with one or two reins. If you decide to ride with one rein, a pelham converter is required to connect the bit rings with the rings of the shanks. The pelham is a mouthpiece with leverage. The longer the shanks, the sharper the action. The baby pelham has short shanks and therefore has a milder action than the normal pelham. A pelham is mainly used for strong horses, horses with too little space in the mouth for two mouthpieces or horses that need to get used to a curb and snaffle. This bit is not suitable for the inexperienced rider.
The Inno Sense Jointed combines the proven design of a traditional jointed bit with the advanced, softer Inno Sense material. The single-jointed design exerts pressure on the bars and sides of the tongue, giving the tongue more freedom and encouraging the horse to work with the bit while precise control is maintained. The main advantage of the Inno Sense Jointed bit is the improved comfort. The softer material reduces discomfort and promotes better acceptance of the bit, especially in horses that are sensitive to resistance or overreact with stronger bits.
The bits from the Inno Sense Jointed collection can be used for all horses, but are particularly suitable for young horses and horses with a sensitive mouth. The Inno Sense material contains no plasticisers and is therefore harmless to the horse's health. Horses that are ridden with an Inno Sense Jointed mouthpiece follow the hand easily and accept the bit quickly.
