Description
Full cheek snaffle with anatomically shaped mouthpiece that ensures even pressure distribution in the horse's mouth. The side cheeks provide stability of the bit and support the sideways aids. The Sweet Iron mouthpiece encourages salivation and contributes to easier acceptance of the bit. Ideal for young, strong or sensitive horses.
- Mouthpiece material: stainless steel
- Cheek material: stainless steel
- Sweet Iron material: iron, steel
- Mouthpiece thickness: 14 mm
- Anatomically shaped full cheek snaffle
- The anatomical shape of the bit ensures better pressure distribution in the horse's mouth
- On contact with moisture a sweet-tasting oxidation layer forms on the iron, which stimulates saliva production and contributes to easier acceptance of the bit
- Through oxidation the blue colour of the bit changes to silver/brown
- Ideal for young, strong or sensitive horses
- The cheeks apply light pressure to the horse's cheeks and contribute to a more stable bit position in the horse's mouth
- The ends of the cheeks are slightly bent outwards so that no uncomfortable contact with the horse's head can occur
- The cheeks of the full cheek snaffle are 14 cm long for bit sizes 9.5 to 11.5 inclusive and 16 cm long for bit sizes 12.5 to 14.5 inclusive
- Double-jointed:
- The double-jointed bit has two hinge points and can therefore adapt better to the horse's mouth. The bit lies more freely in the mouth and applies pressure to tongue, cheeks and corners of the mouth
