Every horse is individual and deserves a solution that suits it as well as possible. That's why the new fairRider spurs offer a sensible alternative to conventional models for sensitive horses. Horses that are particularly sensitive to thighs can tend to resist, flap their tails or even kick at the spurs. In order to be able to offer an aid that helps both horse and rider, we have developed the fairRider spurs in collaboration with Matthias Bierotte. Compared to normal spurs, the fairRider spurs do not have a spike. Instead, they have a rounded stirrup. This creates a wider contact surface to the horse's belly, which in turn ensures a more extensive distribution of pressure. Many examples of use have shown that sensitive horses find this effect more pleasant, are happier and accept the rider's aids better. The smooth, wide surface is also gentle on the coat. And these spurs offer maximum comfort not only for the horse. Because they are made of anodised aluminium, they are also extra light and comfortable to wear. Thanks to the thin, rounded plastic neck, you can apply soft but precise pressure. Please note: spur straps are not included.
