Description
The bit should always be fitted so that it rests on the bars, a tooth-free part of the lower jaw covered with a thin, sensitive mucous membrane. The elastic FaySport bit straps protect the bars in the mouth by distributing the pressure of the bit onto the bars and the noseband. The effect of rein pressure is softened by the rubber stretch in the straps. This distribution and relief can be particularly useful for young horses or horses with an unsettled or sensitive mouth.
