In addition to our standard fly hoods we have now developed a model that is a combination of the extremely popular American look and the expertise of Kentucky Horsewear. The Wellington fly hood protects the horse's ears from flies when riding.
Material & finish
Hand-knitted for better durability, the fly hood looks very fashionable and professional. The material around the sound-damping ears is stretchy and thin.
Fit & size
The material around the ears is stretchy and adapts well so that it fits perfectly. In addition the headpiece is extended so that nothing can slip.
Care & cleaning
Machine washable; most of our products are machine washable at 30 degrees. We recommend, however, doing this as rarely as possible and using our protective wash bags to preserve quality in the long term. We also recommend using professional machines (with larger capacity) to limit damage from the drum of normal washing machines. To dry, simply hang it outside on a sunny day. Tumble dryers are not recommended.
