Description
The ends of this draw rein are made from nylon cord (8 mm wide). The advantage of the round cord is that it slides more easily through the bit rings. The rein parts are made from soft leather (18 mm). The ends are attached to the girth with two carabiner hooks. If the girth does not have an attachment ring, the supplied leather girth loop with D-ring can be used. The girth loop has a leather stop and an additional protective flap for the D-ring. The draw rein is fitted with shiny silver-coloured fittings in chrome-plated brass. A draw rein is used to achieve the correct head position. If the horse holds its head too high, the draw rein exerts pressure on the bit. As soon as the horse yields, the pressure decreases.
