The Velari Flex Medium gag with double-jointed mouthpiece is a carefully balanced combination for riders who seek lightness, balance and genuine communication with their horse.
The gag ring is designed for situations in which lightness is particularly important. When the cheekpieces are run through the rings, a gentle upward movement is created, accompanied by subtle pressure on the poll – a calm but effective invitation to the horse to come off the forehand and come more actively into balance over the back. Instead of forcing the horse into a certain posture, the gag encourages it to find this itself. This makes it a thoughtful choice for transitions, collecting work or horses that tend to seek support in the rider's hand. Used with feel, it communicates clearly without overwhelming the horse.

Care & use
