Description
The ported bar has a special, flattened shape of the port. The tongue thereby receives an optimal amount of space. Many horses react to this with improved relaxation and increased chewing activity. But the bit is also very well suited for so-called tongue players that try to stick their tongue over the bit, as the port effectively prevents this. This mouthpiece is thus excellently suited for horses that reluctantly tolerate conventionally shaped bits because of the pressure on the tongue and react with headshaking or similar. The shape and the weight of the side parts ensure a very quiet, neutral position in the mouth. Through this property the bit is wonderfully suitable for young horses that are still somewhat inexperienced. Through the shape of the side part they are likewise given optimal lateral hold and guidance. Good and quiet rein guidance is made easier through the large ring.
