Mouthpieces for snaffles from Trust are anatomically shaped. This anatomical shape means that the bit sits better in the horse's mouth. The pressure is also better distributed thanks to the curved shape. Thanks to the huge selection of three materials, 20 mouthpieces and 31 side pieces, the right bit can be found for every horse. The Sweet Iron bits can be recognised by their blue colour. The steel mouthpieces oxidise on contact with (air) moisture and develop a thin layer of surface rust. This has a sweet flavour and naturally increases saliva production. The blue colour disappears after a short time and the bit turns silver-greyish to brown due to oxidation. If you do not use the bit, the Sweet Iron bit may develop a thin brown-orange layer of rust, which can be easily wiped off with a damp cloth.
Trust Inno Sense bits for muzzle-sensitive horses
Trust Inno Sense bits are made of a plastic material that is harmless to health, does not contain any consecrating agents and is harmless to horses and humans. These bits are particularly suitable for very sensitive horses that are allergic to metal bits. This bit series includes four different mouthpieces. The Inno Sense Flexi Soft bit is made of an elastic plastic and is very flexible with an equally flexible metal core inside. There is also the Inno Sense Mullen bit, which is a straight bar that is slightly bent forwards. It is also made of flexible plastic, but the metal core inside is not as flexible as the Flexi Soft bit. The Inno Sense Medium Port bit is a bar with a free tongue, which is also harder than the Flexi Soft mouthpiece. The freedom of the tongue reduces the pressure on the centre of the horse's tongue. The last variant Trust offers is the Inno Sense Hard Port bit. The material of this bar bit is harder than the Medium Port, but otherwise has the same shape.
