Eggbutt snaffles are excellent for horses with sensitive corners of the mouth, as pinching of the lips is prevented. The rings fixed to the mouthpiece ensure that the bit lies quietly in the mouth. Sliding through of the bit is prevented, allowing the KK ULTRA mouthpiece to act on the tongue in a central position.

Double-jointed bits in which the olive-shaped centre piece – compared with conventional bits – is shortened and angled 45° forwards. Only in this angled position does the centre piece rest particularly gently on the tongue. These bits therefore allow a confident contact and a very fine rein action.
The innovative KK ULTRA bits make use of the sense of touch of the tongue, which in horses works in a similarly sensitive way to that of humans.
The tongue is a highly sensitive sensory organ and amplifies the reception of the signals that arrive in the horse’s mouth through the rider’s rein aids. When the reins are taken up the centre piece of the KK ULTRA bits sits snugly on the tongue without pinching and without exerting pressure on the palate and bars. The connecting rings to the centre piece roll over the tongue. Through the new position of the centre piece and the side bit parts the sense of touch of the tongue is more strongly stimulated. The rider’s rein aids arrive more precisely and with more feel in the horse’s mouth. The KK ULTRA bits ensure incomparably sensitive contact between rider and horse. When switching to a KK ULTRA bit an immediate improvement in the contact can usually be seen. The anatomically adapted mouthpiece is particularly pleasant for the horse and promotes relaxation, as the rider can act with more feel.
