The Body Safe woollen harness is an essential accessory if you have a dog. Its chic woollen look will attract all eyes during your walks. The soft material used prevents unpleasant chafing.
A great alternative if your dog pulls too much with a normal collar. When buckled correctly, the harness shifts the pressure that normally acts on the neck towards the chest to provide more comfort.
The harness is very easy to put on and can be pulled over the head. It has a Velcro fastener at chest height and a second fastener with a loop for closing at the belly. The handle on the back allows you to grab your dog quickly if necessary.
The harness is available in seven different sizes. We recommend taking your dog's measurements to choose the right size. To do this, measure your dog's chest circumference: Place either 2 fingers (for sizes XXS-XS-S) or 4 fingers (for sizes ML-XL-XXL) behind the front legs and measure the chest from this distance. We also recommend that you should be able to place your hand under the harness on the back of your dog. When fitting, make sure that these distances are maintained to give your dog maximum freedom of movement.
Some additional tips:
- The harness is the right size when the shoulders are free
- The harness is badly fitted if it 'squeezes the neck'
- The harness is too big if your dog can pull its front paws out of the harness
- If the dog pulls and tries to remove the harness, avoid pulling.
