Smart turnout rug for cold-blooded horses!
The turnout rug with fleece is windproof and waterproof (4000 mm water column, breathability 3000 g/m² in 24 h) as well as tear- and abrasion-resistant thanks to 1200 DEN ripstop fabric. For an optimum fit the chest fastening consists of Velcro and additional snap hooks. The cross surcingles and the deep tail flap prevent the turnout rug from slipping on the horse and ensure a secure fit.
The turnout rug has a measured back length of e.g. 145 cm and is suitable for medium-type cold-blooded horses such as the Rhenish-German Coldblood with a height of 1.60–1.68 m and a weight class between 700 and 850 kg. The chest area is generously designed for cold-bloods and can be further adjusted individually via the two rings.

Close the Velcro fastenings before every wash and store the rug in a thick bag. The latter prevents the fittings from hitting the washing machine drum during washing, bursting open and rusting more quickly. Always wash turnout rugs with a detergent for turnout rugs. This helps avoid damaging the lamination of the rug. Wash the rug at 30°C on a delicate or gentle cycle. Subsequent impregnation is not necessary, as the waterproofing of turnout rugs is created by a reverse-side lamination of the fabric and impregnation can damage this.
We recommend having the rug cleaned by a professional rug laundry.
