Description
Pelham "Ergonomic"
The “Ergonomic” bit range is anatomically adapted to the horse’s mouth and becomes slightly narrower towards the inside. The advantage is a more pleasant pressure distribution.
Sweet Iron is a material that takes on a slightly sweet taste as soon as the mouthpiece comes into contact with saliva. The surface then starts to rust slightly, which also means that the horse can foam more and the bit is better accepted. For the double-jointed mouthpieces we use copper inserts that have a sweeter taste from the outset.
The Pelham has long shanks and is supplied with a curb chain. A Pelham is mostly used for jumping or in eventing.
Thickness: 14 mm
Shanks: 7.5 cm
Size: 125, 135, 145 mm double-jointed Lock Up
Weight: 0.4 kg
Mouthpieces in Sweet Iron can show signs of use more quickly than stainless steel bits, as Sweet Iron is a surface coating that is noticeably softer than other types of metal.
