The 9 mm thick felt is ideal for raising the saddle. Felt is unique in its properties. Where other materials push away under pressure or can only compress into themselves, felt stays shape-stable and still has pleasant cushioning when riding. In addition felt, like no other material, moulds more and more to the given shape through warmth. The felt inserts take on the saddle and back shape and thus move more with the motion than other materials. Especially for horses that need good shock absorption, felt as an insert is ideal.
