Description
This FC Special curb is especially recommended for horses with strong tongues and a flat palate arch. The flat, widened tongue freedom creates space for thick tongues and at the same time protects the sensitive palate. The short shanks ensure a quick aid without building up strong pressure on the poll.
Where the curb is fastened the horse's mouth tends to be somewhat narrower. We therefore recommend choosing the curb ½ to 1 cm smaller than the bradoon. It is important that the side pieces of the curb close tightly at the corners of the mouth. If there is too much play between corner of the mouth and side piece, the curb can block or also tilt.
The curb chain should be fastened so that an angle of about 30 to 45 degrees is possible between your horse's mouth corner and the shank.
