Description
This high-quality, single-jointed Baucher snaffle with upward-directed cheeks with ring and leverage is made of solid Cuprigan with stainless steel rings. Cuprigan is an alloy of 89% copper, 7% aluminium, 3% iron and 1% zinc. The oxidation process of the material produces a pleasant smell and taste. The anatomical shape follows the shape of the horse's mouth, which enables gentle and even pressure distribution. The combination of the shape and the unique composition of Cuprigan stimulates the chewing process and saliva formation, which can create a pleasant connection with the sensitive horse's mouth. The upward-directed cheeks with ring stand slightly outwards, which ensures optimum freedom for the horse's head. The mouthpiece is 16 mm thick and the cheeks have a length of 110 mm.
A Baucher snaffle has upward-directed cheeks with a ring for attaching the cheekpieces. Unlike other snaffles, this bit has slight leverage and exerts pressure behind the ears. The bit is well suited for sensitive horses.
