Description
The rubber bits from Sprenger consist of soft, durable rubber with a steel core. Rubber generally has an “eraser effect”, which is why it is important that the horse chews sufficiently with these bits. If the horse does not produce enough saliva, a rubber bit can be unpleasant for the horse. Unlike a pure metal bit there is a risk that the rubber can be bitten through slightly if the bit is not correctly fitted and comes into contact with the teeth.
