Gently dissolves scabs and crusts.

 In the case of mud fever and eczema, stubborn scabs that stick to the hair often cover the affected areas of the skin.

 They thus hinder a meaningful treatment of the underlying pathogens. Extremely thin oils of Keralysin ointment undermine and soften these layers of scab and loosen them.

These can then be gently removed overnight, often after just one application, without causing mechanical irritation or damage to the skin.
Additionally prescribed disinfectants or healing preparations can then achieve their optimal effect. The Keralysin ointment has proven to be very useful, especially for Friesians or other horses with long hair in the pastern area, as there is no need to remove the hair.
