Hackamore
The mechanical hackamore works like a curb. Your reins do not only affect the mouth and tongue, but rather the neck, the horse's nose and the chin nerve. Therefore, this bitless bridle is more for experienced riders who ride independently of the reins, because just because your horse has no bit in its mouth does not automatically make the hackamore gentler. A hackamore is usually ridden with loose reins and with one hand.
