Competition breeches are no longer just plain white, but are available with beautiful decorations, sporty highlights, contrasting seams and glittering decorations and applications.
The material consists of breathable microfibre, cotton or stretch materials which offer a pleasant wearing comfort even on hot days. For the particularly hot days, the company Ariat developed a competition breeches that has a cooling function and is therefore particularly comfortable to wear.
Different leg attachments are also trendy: Either you use the tried and tested Velcro fastener or the leg attachment from an elastic variant. The advantage here is that the breeches do not chafe and fit better on the leg.
Competition breeches with grip or full seat?
The type of trim you choose depends on your personal preferences. White breeches with grip are a little more comfortable to wear, especially in summer, as they are more airy. Knee patch breeches with grip are also suitable for show jumpers. The silicone trim keeps the rider in the saddle better, you almost stick to the leather.
The full seat breeches are the classic variant. The trimmings made of PU artificial leather are not quite as grippy as grip trimmings, but are much more durable. If you don't like the firm hold of Grip breeches, you should opt for full seat breeches.
How do you wash white competition breeches?
In order to keep nice, light-colored competition breeches clean, please only wash them at 30 degrees on a delicate wash and really only together with light colours. In addition, the breeches should be washed inside out.
If you want the colors and shape to stay as new and the fibers breathable or bielastic, then we recommend special detergents. A detergent for sports materials reactivates the structure of microfibers, has an antistatic effect, protects against water and dirt and is suitable for softshell, fleece and elastane textiles.
When choosing the detergent, pay attention to the washing instructions on the product. It usually states which materials it is suitable for.
