The perfect helmet for every day is the uvex perfexxion! Whether in blue, beige or black, the perfexxion fits in the course as well as in the dressage arena and also protects you on every ride. The uvex exxential has an extremely good price-performance ratio and is ideal for beginners and leisure riders. The uvex onyxx is just the thing for children! The princess, little pony or glittering star look also inspires little riders to wear a helmet and offers them the greatest possible safety.
When deciding which helmet to choose, the fit should be decisive in addition to all the visual aspects. The super light and comfortable to wear uvex riding helmets can be precisely adjusted not only in width but also in height in no time at all. In addition, the side belt straps can be adjusted steplessly so that the belt strap always remains in the correct position and does not get in the way. The monomatic comfort closure developed by uvex enables the riding helmet to be opened and closed at the push of a button with just one hand, so you always have one hand free for your horse.
All uvex riding helmets have climate control - the in-house Vent System. These are cleverly designed ventilation ducts that direct fresh air through the riding helmet from the front. The warm air then escapes at the back of the helmet. In this way, the head is evenly cooled. With the uvex Elexxion, the air flow can be regulated by individually opening or closing the shield ventilation system. This allows you to control exactly how much wind should flow through your riding helmet. If you still sweat in the middle of summer, the washable and removable inner lining has an anti-allergic and moisture-absorbing effect. Thanks to the Velcro fastener, you can easily remove and wash the inlay.
The special thing about uvex riding helmets is the individual adjustment option to your head shape. Regardless of whether it is a children's helmet or a riding helmet for adults, there is always the possibility of adapting the helmet to a certain extent to the width and height of the head. The adjustment wheel at the back of the head allows you to tighten or loosen the helmet. The height can be adjusted via a side adjustment option on the left and right.
With Inmold technology, the EPS protective material is injected directly into the polycarbonate helmet shell. This means that the inner layer made of EPS is inseparably connected to the outer layer made of polycarbonate and ensures a particularly light helmet construction with maximum impact resistance.
Another helmet construction option is Hardshell Technology. This riding helmet consists of an injected outer shell and an EPS inner shell. This makes the helmet impact-resistant on the outside and shock-absorbing and cold-insulating on the inside. With this type of structure, the ventilation openings and ventilation channels can be perfectly integrated and thus ensure optimal wearing comfort.
The two previous constructions were recently combined in Hybrid Technology. The upper part of the helmet consists of a robust outer shell in hard shell construction. Inside is the EPS inner shell with ventilation channels. In addition, there is an inmould outer layer on the side. With this construction, the helmet is lighter, better ventilated and offers creative minds many design options.
You can determine the right size by measuring your widest head circumference with a measuring tape. Then look in the table to see which size corresponds to your head circumference. If you are between two sizes, we recommend ordering the larger size.
