The Keralit Hoof strengthener is simply applied to the hoof with a bristle brush and acts directly on the bearing edge, hoof sole and white line.

Through the application of Keralit Hoof strengthener strengthens the horn and makes it much more durable. After just two weeks of use, the horn in these areas has a slightly shiny appearance and the hooves sound firmer on hard ground. The horn abrasion of bare-footed horses is greatly reduced. The supporting edge, sole and white line become much stronger and more resilient. The irons of shod horses are tighter and the hoof is protected.

Through the application of Keralit Hoof strengtheners are the harmful influences of microorganisms such as triggers of the "white line disease" (decomposition of the white line) is greatly reduced, since the horn becomes indigestible for the responsible microorganisms. This is particularly important in the case of already damaged horn. Here, usable horn substance is stabilized and further damage is avoided.
