Features
Covered with our famous velvet fabric using an innovative hot-press technique, robust EVA shell with several ventilation holes for optimal ventilation and cooling, the tendon area is reinforced with our bamboo protection to prevent sharp objects from penetrating, improved cut for maximum freedom of movement, highly breathable 3D spacer lining for even more comfort and breathability.
What makes them special
After introducing our famous Bamboo Elastic Sheepskin tendon boots comes the Bamboo Elastic Velvet variant. The boots are made of a strong EVA shell and covered with our famous velvet fabric using an innovative hot-press technique. The tendon area is reinforced with our bamboo protection to prevent penetration. We have developed our own test machine that generates a force of 80 N, with a razor-sharp axe falling onto a horizontally aligned horse’s leg. Our tendon boots with bamboo protection are able to withstand this extreme test method, which cannot even be compared with a real impact when riding.
Material & finish
Our famous velvet fabric is laminated onto the EVA, which is then placed in a hot-press mould at high temperature. The Bamboo Elastic Velvet tendon boots are fitted on the inside with our highly breathable and well-known 3D spacer lining. This 3D spacer lining is also used in our 3D Spacer boots and horse rugs. The outer shell of the boots is made of light yet robust EVA, with an additional bamboo insert in the tendon area. EVA has excellent shock-absorbing properties. The boots are 35 % taller than the TPU boots. The bamboo insert is also antibacterial. In the areas where the horse bends we have integrated a soft part made of natural rubber to avoid any friction. Thanks to all these properties these boots are very comfortable for the horse’s legs.
Fit & size
Thanks to the anatomically shaped design the boots adapt well to the horse’s leg and offer maximum comfort and protection. This gives the horse maximum freedom of movement to jump better. This soft and flexible rubber insert below the joint also offers the horse greater comfort of movement. The boots are available in sizes S, M and L.
Care & cleaning
Most of our products are machine washable at 30 degrees. However, we recommend washing them as rarely as possible and using our gentle wash bags to preserve quality in the long term. We also recommend washing in professional washing machines (with greater capacity) to avoid damage from the drum of an ordinary washing machine. To dry, simply hang the item outside on a sunny day. Tumble drying is not recommended.
