What makes it special
Our chest-strap extender is versatile and fits horse rugs with the same fastening (e.g. the Horseware Amigo rug). It is perfect for horses with a broad chest or larger horse breeds such as the Quarter Horse.
Material & finish
The top of the waterproof chest-strap extender with two buckles is waterproof and very tear-resistant. The inside of the chest extender is made from our well-known artificial sheepskin, which is also used on our popular “Shipping” sheepskin headcollar. This makes it extremely soft and offers additional protection in the chest area. Next to the buckle there is also a Velcro fastening that keeps the chest-strap extender in place.
Fit & size
The chest-strap extender with vegan sheepskin and one buckle offers up to 19 cm more space.
Care & cleaning
Most of our products are machine washable at 30 degrees. However, we recommend washing them as rarely as possible and using our gentle wash bags to maintain quality in the long term. We also recommend washing in professional washing machines (with larger capacity) to avoid damage from the drum of a normal washing machine. To dry, simply hang the rug outside on a sunny day. Tumble drying is not recommended.
