What makes it special
Our chest strap extension is versatile and fits horse rugs with the same fastening (e.g. the Horseware Amigo rug). The chest strap extension is perfect for horses with a broad chest or larger horse breeds such as the Quarter Horse.
Material & finish
The outside of the chest strap extension with vegan lambskin is made entirely of our faux lambskin. The faux lambskin is the material also used in our “Shipping” lambskin headcollar. This makes the chest strap extension very comfortable and breathable. The chest strap extension offers additional protection in the chest area. Besides the two buckles there is also a Velcro fastening that ensures the chest strap extension stays in place.
Fit & size
The chest strap extension with vegan lambskin offers up to 19 cm more space. In addition the chest strap extension is available with one or two buckles.
Care & cleaning
Most of our products are machine washable at 30 degrees. However, we recommend washing them as rarely as possible and using our gentle wash bags to maintain quality in the long term. We also recommend washing in professional washing machines (with larger capacity) to avoid damage from the drum of a normal washing machine. To dry, simply hang the rug outside on a sunny day. Tumble drying is not recommended.
