What it does
Our Half Pad Impact Equaliser absorbs all impacts and distributes them evenly. This not only relieves the horse's back, but also the rider's back. For this reason, the pad is ideal for any discipline. The pad is also suitable for normal training, as it continuously distributes the pressure on the horse's back. It is easier to tense and relax the horse's muscles. This benefits riding, as the horse can move more freely. In the long term, this contributes to a supple and happy horse. Impacts caused by the rider are also absorbed, stabilising the saddle and providing ergonomic benefits for both the rider and the horse.
How it works
The saddle pad is made of memory foam and 3D spacer. The combination of materials creates a shock-absorbing pad. The memory foam distributes the pressure evenly and always adapts to the shape of the horse. The 3D spacer with its air-permeable properties ensures that air can reach the back. Using these materials, we have created a half pad that is 20 to 30 % lighter than most other pads on the market. Not only is the pad lighter than others, but you also feel closer to the horse and improve communication between you and your horse.

Kentucky Horsewear uses a memory foam known for its use in the army and as a protective material. We have developed a half pad that protects your horse in the same way. The 3D spacer has a 3D honeycomb structure with a springy effect that has shock-absorbing properties. The material is highly breathable and ensures that the horse's back does not heat up. This minimises any irritation on the horse's back.
The cut at the withers is made of synthetic leather and offers comfort by relieving the horse's spine. To maintain the position of the half pad while riding, the pad is provided with a silicone pattern. The Half Pad Impact Equaliser is produced with artificial sheepskin at the withers and on the back of the pad. This gives the Half Pad an elegant look.
Care instructions for the Half Pad Sheepskin Impact Equaliser
The Half Pad Impact Equaliser is washable at 30 degrees. Remove the memory foam from the inside of the Half Pad before washing. Do not tumble dry.
