The saddle pad with medical lambskin is the ideal pad for riding. Unlike a standard saddle pad, this pad has front and rear pockets that can be individually padded to equalise the saddle.

Lambskin is hypoallergenic and antiseptic. This means that even horses with sensitive skin can wear a saddle pad. In addition, the lambskin promotes blood circulation in the horse's muscles. Thanks to its natural structure, the fur massages the horse's back when riding. In addition, no heat build-up develops under medical lambskin. It has a temperature-regulating effect and prevents excessive sweating.

A saddle pad with genuine lambskin also retains its shape. The lambskin straightens up again after every ride. Despite perspiration, the shape is retained and even under pressure from the saddle and shocks when riding, the fur remains compact and shock-absorbent. As a result, the pad adapts anatomically to the horse's back and prevents pressure points and chafing.

Application

A saddle pad with genuine lambskin is often used for jumping or eventing. The lambskin protects against strong impacts from the rider. Sensitive horses in particular need natural products in the back area in order to be able to move without pressure and constraint.

The pad also has insert pockets to help correct the saddle. The saddle position can be individually adjusted using the slide-in pockets if the saddle is too low at the front or back. Possible reasons for this could be a change in the horse's musculature or a sub-optimal fit of the saddle.

Care instructions

Natural materials react sensitively to chemicals. The more often lambskin is washed, the more it loses its natural effect and begins to fluff. Simply brush out the lambskin with a soft brush after drying. If washing is necessary, use a special lambskin detergent and wash the pad at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Remove the inserts beforehand.
