What is special about it?
The horse down blanket is often used by professionals as an underblanket. This warm blanket stores body heat and keeps out the cold. No more hassle with tangled cross surcingles and no more pressure from multiple front fasteners, as the down rug has no fasteners.
Fabrics & materials
The inside and outside of the duvet are made of polyester microfibre. This fabric has a soft cotton touch and stays in place well. The filling of the down duvet is a 300g fibre. This material consists of several layers of filling in which warm air can circulate. This creates a cocoon of warmth around your horse, but is still breathable. The fibre filling does not absorb odours and always returns to its original shape.
Shape & size
The rug can be used for different types of horses thanks to its shape as a large rectangle (200 x 180). This is very practical for riders with several horses, as the rug always fits. The rug also stays in place under other rugs thanks to the polyester microfibre. If you want to use a girth to keep the rug in place, nylon straps are included. For extra support, a cotton blanket can be used under the rug. The extended neck section provides additional protection. The lack of pressure between the rug and mane prevents chafing. The neck section can also be folded down for additional protection
Care instructions
The horse eiderdown rug is washable at 30 degrees. We recommend air-drying the rug afterwards.
