Passier snaffles - high-quality leather and simple elegance
Passier snaffles catch the eye - usually at second glance! Thanks to their perfect fit, first-class leather, discreet browbands and, above all, their simple elegance. Barely visible buckles, narrow button bridles, fine decorations and beautiful details make every Passier snaffle a timeless piece of jewellery.
The Neptun and Icarus round-sewn snaffle models are particularly popular with dressage riders. The Marcus Ehning snaffle with white decorative stitching on the curved noseband is particularly popular with show jumping specialists. The Passier bridle Ingrid Klimke was designed in collaboration with the riding champion. The headpiece is particularly softly lined and has a very wide ear cut-out. The wide contact surface of the headpiece ensures optimum pressure relief.
Traditional company Passier - Success story of the saddlery since 1867
After his time as a regimental saddler, Georg Passier opened his own saddlery in Hanover in 1867. His son Ernst, also a master saddler, joined his father's company in 1901 and the family business employed around 80 people until the First World War. After the war, the saddlery was always sluggish, but Ernst Passier succeeded in opening up new sales markets and making the Passier saddle brand well known abroad. Around 30 years later, Georg Passier, the third generation, joins the company. The grandson of the founder is not only a saddler, but also a trained businessman and uses this knowledge to rebuild the company after the Second World War and help it to achieve a steady upturn. Passier is part of the German economic miracle and the demand for equestrian products from Germany continues to grow. In 1967, the company moves to its new headquarters in Langenhagen near Hanover, thereby making a clear commitment to Germany as a production location.
Since 1994, the family business G. Passier & Sohn has been in the hands of the fifth generation, Georg Dirk Kannemeier. The small craft business has developed into a large, internationally recognised company that exports to over 40 countries and is highly regarded in the equestrian world. Development and production still take place in-house in Langenhagen, although the company headquarters have been repeatedly rebuilt and modernised over the years. Passier products are still unique pieces made by master craftsmen. Made from the highest quality materials from selected suppliers. So it's no wonder that Passier saddles in particular last longer than a horse's lifetime with good care and will also serve future generations well. Bridles, girths and accessories also impress with this outstanding quality.
