The tongue bow bar has a special, flattened shape of the bow. This provides the tongue with optimum space. Many horses react to this with improved suppleness and increased chewing activity. But the bit is also very suitable for so-called tongue players who try to stick their tongue over the bit, as the arch effectively prevents this. This mouthpiece is therefore ideal for horses that do not tolerate conventionally shaped bits due to the pressure on the tongue and react with head banging or similar. The shank snaffle lies very quietly and stably in the mouth. It provides reliable lateral control without the risk of pinching the skin and lips due to the angled bars. This bit is suitable for horses that require clear lateral support and guidance when turning away. These can be strong horses as well as young, inexperienced horses. This bit is preferably used by show jumpers in order to be able to ride fast turns.
